Robert Louis "Nub" Sage, age 83, of Wytheville, VA passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. He was born April 18, 1934 in Grayson County, the son of the late George Washington Sage and Nora Blanche Davis Sage and was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Bube" Sage and a sister, Maxine Richardson.  He is survived by his wife, Shelby Sage; son, Robert D. Sage of Wytheville; daughter, Alicia Sage-Huff and Mike Huff of Wytheville; four grandchildren, Matthew Sage and Teena Brewer, Ashley Huff, Ally Huff and Michael Huff; great grandchild, Aiden Sage; brothers-in-law, Bob Billings of Ohio, Ellis Billings of West Virginia and Ronnie Billings of Virginia; sisters-in-law, Shirley Mitchell, Freeda Baldwin, Juanita Mitchell, Janice Johnson and Nadine Barnett, all of Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Sandra Carty and Jeff Butz; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, May 26, 2017 at All Nations Church with the Reverend Chad Dunford officiating.

Interment will follow in West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday one hour before service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Hope Backpacks for Kids".
