Robert Allen Patterson, age 80, of Rolling Hills Drive, Wytheville, Virginia passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at his home.  Robert was a member of the Wytheville Moose Lodge #394.  Robert was also a member of the Kazim Temple and the New River Valley Shriner's Club and was the Lion Character for them.  Robert was also a twenty-eight year veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include two daughters Deborah and Donald Wiley of Florida and Dana and David Christian of Wytheville,  and three grandchildren David Wiley, Jeremy Wiley, and Nathan & Amanda Joiner.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Barnett Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Hospital or St. Judes Hospital.  A Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
