Roberta Virginia "Bobbie" Poole, age 88, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born December 17, 1935 in Keyser, WV, daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Brandenburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Sonny" Poole and her brother, Jay Brandenburg. Bobbie was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and James Gravley of Max Meadows, Barbara and Mike Mowday of Middletown, DE; five grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Kayla, Cody and Paige; seven great-grandchildren, Lane, Liam, Atlas, Gunnar, Iris, Kayson and Reagan. Many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Andrew Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 service time.

Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1705 Peppers Ferry Road, Wytheville, VA 24382
