D. Roberta Sharitz age 90, of Crockett, VA passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She was born July 7, 1933 in Wythe County and was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emma Wright Sharitz; two sisters, A. Rachel Sharitz and Pauline Sharitz; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Vana Sharitz, Clyde and Doris Sharitz, Randolph Sharitz and Herbert Sharitz; her niece, Marilyn Sharitz.

Survivors include her niece, Carolyn Sharitz; special friends and cousins, Bertha and Wes Shelton, Sue Sexton, Robert Sexton, Olena and Jodi Lambert and their daughters, Jillian and Ada and a host of good neighbors and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Alderman officiating. A private interment will follow in West End Cemetery.

Flowers will be appreciated or memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

The family extends their special thanks to Senior Home Share and Wythe County Community Hospital for their kind and compassionate care for Miss Roberta.
