Bishop Rocky Ellis Dalton, Age 69, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born November 10, 1952 in Wythe County, VA to the late Ellis Clark Dalton and Carrie Mae King Dalton.  He was a minister for 42 years. His service included pastoring Church of God of Prophecy and Zion Assembly as Pastor, Bishop, International Representative and he went on missionary trips. He had this testimony that he pleased God.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cindy Dalton of Ivanhoe, Sons Jason Dalton and wife Audrey of Hillsville, Adam Dalton and Fiancé Rachel Hamby of Radford; Daughter Sarah Deaton and husband Brian of Fancy Gap; Brother Ambrose Trenton Mabe of Kernersville, NC; Sisters Judy Mabe of Ivanhoe, Tonie Dalton of Ivanhoe; and 5 Grandchildren Jasmine Dalton and Fiancé Taylor Craft, Carrie Santoro and husband Matt, Victoria Cudd and husband Michael, Abigail Deaton and Elias Dalton; 2 Aunts and several Nieces and Nephews.

Burial will be graveside October 3, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery with Minister Brian Deaton Officiating.

A Celebration of Life service will be held October 7, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at the Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy.
