Roger Dale Snow, Sr.

Roger Dale “Skull” Snow, Sr., age 70, of Barren Springs, VA passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was born February 9, 1956 in Martinsville, VA, son of the late James and Annie York Snow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda “Suzie” Quesenberry and a brother, Benny Hill.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Snow of the home; a daughter, Crystal and Paul Garwood of Barren Springs; two sons, Roger, Jr. and Jessi Snow of Barren Springs, Michael and Tara Viars of Dublin; six grandchildren, Jacob, Stephen, Julie, Jackson, Jason and Kenza; four sisters, Patty Edwards of Dublin, Patricia and Joe Posillico of Pulaski, Sandra and Toby Fitzgerald of Nelson County, VA and Marie Hill of Pulaski; a brother, William Eddie Hill of Dublin; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026 at Barren Springs Holiness Church with the Reverend Chuck Neal officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time. Burial will follow in the Snow Family Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Snow family.
