Ronnie Alexander Aker, 65 of Max Meadows (East Piney Community), left for his heavenly home, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, surrounded by his family. Born, May 4, 1957, in Wythe County VA, he was the son of the late David Alfred Aker and Iva Jean "Felts" Aker.

Ronnie worked many years at Tucker Pontiac Buick in Wytheville VA, where he took pride in being a master mechanic. He loved to fish and hunt and work on cars, and he was very skilled at it all he was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Carder and brother-in-law Stephen W. Stoots.

Survivors include: his grandchildren, Lily, Durstan, and Leland, sister, Davene and husband Billy Dale of Simpsonville S.C., sister Tresia Stroupe of Kershaw, S.C., sister, Martha Stoots, brother Robert Jeffery Aker, sister, Angie Spain and husband Joey, all of Max Meadow's VA, several special aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 7 P.M. at Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville VA, with Pastor Hal Lewis officiating.  Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville VA from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday October 30, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Piney.
