Rosa Lee White Reynolds, age 83, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Monday, September 11, 2017. She was born February 18, 1934 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Vivian Early White and Mae Sutphin White and was also preceded in death by a brother, Ed White. In her younger years she attended the Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy and was a long time active member of the Austinville Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, member of the Ladies Auxiliary and  Missions Director. Rosa worked several years in the school system as a teacher's aide and retired as secretary with Max Meadows Elementary School. She is survived by her husband, J.E. "Jim" Reynolds; two daughters, Teresa and Doyle Joiner of Bay Minette, AL, Regina and Gary Moon of Santa Barbara, CA; four sons, Terry Wayne and Teresa Reynolds of Bennett, NC, Rick and Phyllis Reynolds of Margate, FL, Stephen and Katrina Reynolds of Max Meadows, VA, Mark Reynolds of Rochester, NY; sister, Christine Viars of Lots Gap, VA; two brothers, Donald D. White of Kirkland, OH, Michael and Carolyn White of Max Meadows, VA; twelve grandchildren, Tamara Reynolds, Trenace Smith, Jesse Moon, Jenna Bagby-Moon, Casey Joiner, David Joiner, Olivia Reynolds, Avonlea Reynolds, Greyson Reynolds, Aaliyah Reynolds, Eric Reynolds, Austin Reynolds; six great-grandchildren, Liam Schoeneg, Haven Smith, Brandt Smith, Airlie Smith, Mason Joiner, Mady Joiner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Austinville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Terry Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Austinville PH Church. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Reynolds family.
