Rose Alice Reedy Lawson, age 86, of Auburndale, FL passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born June 18, 1935 in Tazewell, VA, daughter of the late Thomas and Louise Potts Reedy. Rose retired having taught school in Wythe County.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Harry "Gene" Lawson of the home; son, Terry and Jean Lawson of Pinnacle, NC; daughter, Rosemarie and Dale Cheney of Auburndale, FL, special daughter, Lisa and Bary Jonas of Max Meadows, VA; sister, Helen Myers of Tampa, FL; special grandsons, Matthew and Stephen Cheney; special great-granddaughter, Katie Cheney. 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Reese Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Bethany UMC Cemetery.
