Ruby Turney Ward, 92 of, Max Meadows, went home to heaven on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Born September 19, 1929, in Pulaski VA; she was the daughter of the late William D. and Mary Jane Jones Turney.

She was a devoted servant of God, and a faithful member of the Poplar Camp Church of God Prophecy for over sixty years. She was loved by many Nieces and Nephews, Grand Nieces and Nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Beloved husband Williamson H. "Bill" Ward, and siblings, and their spouses, Raymond Michael Turney, Luther and Mozelle King, Boyce and Mary Catherine Dean, Bill and Joanne Dennis, Lee and Aileen Turney, Billy and Polly Turney and sister-in-law Charlotte Turney.

Survivors include: her son, Michael Ward and wife Susan Ward, brother Bobby Turney, of Ridgeway VA, sister Nancy Frazier and husband Donald of Ridgeway, VA, she was "Ruru" to grandsons Tony (Lori) Ward and Kevin (Kayla) Ward. Great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kam Ward

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Poplar Camp Church of God Prophecy, with Pastor Lonnie Frazier Officiating: burial will follow at the Bethany UMC Cemetery in Austinville, VA .

Friends may call Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Poplar Camp Church of God Prophecy from 1 P.M.  until the service time, or at the home of Michael Ward any time.
