Samuel "Bud" Allen Cregger, Jr., age 91, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. He was born August 26, 1925 in Wythe County, the son of the late Samuel and Pearl Cregger.   He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian T. Cregger; several brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Johnny Huddle. He is survived by three daughters, Libby Huddle, Brend and Perry Dunford, Sue and Mark Poole; son, Sammy and Joyce Cregger; grandchildren, Chip and Sally Dunford, Kristy and Shannon Kincer, Jody Fiorini, Angela Poole, Stacey and Ron Lawson, Todd and Jessica Poole, Cody Poole and Lauren Smith, Jared Cregger, Nikki and Jonathan Isom; step granddaughter, Kristy Windle; Great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ben, Jesse, Molly, Roman, Damon, Tucker, Bryson, Easton and Allie; step great grandchildren, Peyton and Alyssa; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Cindy Privette officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
