Sanders Venston Neal, age 75, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018. He was born April 27, 1942 in Max Meadows, the son of the late Ralph Neal and Opaley Busick Neal. Sanders was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sue Jackson Neal;        sister, Rowena Coffey and niece, Robin Lovern. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge # 173 A.F & A.M and Ivanhoe Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge # 173. He was retired from VDOT with over 30 years of service.  Sanders is survived by a special sister-in-law, Margie and Harlan Lawson of Fries, VA; special niece, Karen and Ronnie Bonham of Fries, VA; brother, Nickey and Judy Neal of Princeton, WV; two step-brothers, Joe and Ruth Besenyei of West Virginia and Robert Besenyei of West Virginia; sister, Shirley and Gary Steberger of Ohio; step-sister, Rose Fuller of Florida; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Reese Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the funeral home.
