Sandra Crockett Johnson, age 78 of Ivanhoe, VA (the Cripple Creek Community) passed away Friday, February 9, 2018.

She was born in Wythe County, VA on May 22, 1939 the daughter of the late James Samuel Crockett and Ethel Littreal Crockett.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bayne Johnson; brothers, James R. "Bud" Crockett, Sr., Donald Crockett, W.B Crockett; sisters, Joyce Grubb, Evelyn Robinson and Kathryn Crockett.

She is survived by a daughter, Susie and John Manuel of Rural Retreat, VA; grandchildren, Misty and Sammy Crigger, Bradley and Kim Manuel, Kenny and Jessica Manuel; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Crigger, Clint and Laura Manuel; sister, Ruth Ann and John Marshall of Cripple Creek, VA; brothers, Steve and Ada Crockett of Collinsville, VA, John and Louise Crockett of Cripple Creek, VA; brothers-in-law, Jack Robinson of Bristol, VA, Louis Simmerman of Chesapeake, VA; sister-in-law, Freda Gravley and Jessie of Big Stone Gap, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Sunday, February 11, 2018 at United Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Dew officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. prior to the service.  An interment will take place Monday in the Crocket Family Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Crockett Family Cemetery Fund, c/o Adair King, 1522 Ridge Ave, Crockett, VA   24323
