Sarah Ellen Pearman Wright, age 82 of Wytheville, Virgina went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  She was born in Carroll County to the late Garnett & Ocie Pearman on June 21, 1941.  She married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Wright, Sr.  on November 21, 1955.  Sarah was a homemaker in the early years as Bobby and Sarah raised their young family.   Then she earned her LPN and continued in her education to receive her associate degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse.   She practiced as a registered nurse for over 25 years.  She worked in the Public Health departments of Carroll County and Wythe County as she cared for mothers and children for the most part of her nursing.  Sarah enjoyed gardening and she knew how to make things grow with her loving care and nurturing spirit.   She loved her Lord and her family almost more than life itself.    She more than once would state that her happy place was "my family".

As Sarah joins her loving husband, Bobby in heaven she is survived by their family:

Great- Grandchildren:   Maddi, Cory, Bradley & Niko Wright of Gibsonville NC; Camden Wright of Greensboro NC

Martha Jane Pearman her cousin she always considered to be her sister; Sister-in-law Peggy Burcham; Brother-in-laws – Glen Alderman & Roger Wright and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at West End Methodist Church in Wytheville, VA with the Pastor Natalie Drummond officiating.  The family will receive friends at 10:30 am, the service is scheduled for 11:30 with the graveside to follow.
