Scott Michael Kurki, age 65, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024. He was born March 6, 1959 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of the late Daniel and Jeannie Bruno Kurki. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Kurki.

Scott was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed camping, hiking, astronomy, Civil War skirmish shooting and watching old movies. He will be missed deeply by his family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Kurki; his brother, Terry Kurki of Ashtabula, OH; his uncle, Tim and Mariellen Kurki of Edgewater, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Reese Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
