Sherry Tate, age 73, of Wytheville VA passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. Born December 11, 1951 in Wytheville VA, she was the daughter of the late John Cecil Baker and Faye McGhee.

She enjoyed spending time with her son and her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Tate, one son, John Douglas Tate and stepmother Gerlene Semones.

Survivors include one brother, Beau Baker, half-brother, Steven Semones, half-sister Sheila Jean Hamm and several nieces and nephews.
