Shirley Poff Houseman, age 91, of Wytheville, VA passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. She was born March 13, 1932 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Ernest and Clara Poff. She was preceded in death by her sons, Stanley Houseman and Eddie Houseman. Shirley was a member of Mt. Ephraim Church.

Survivors include her husband and the love of her life for 71 years, Jerry Houseman; two grandchildren, Hunter Houseman and Hayley Tolar (Joey); her brother, Vance Poff of New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Ephraim Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
