Shirley Peak McGee, age 84, of Max Meadows, Va passed away Thursday December 25, 2025. She was born in Wythe County, Va on November 7, 1942 to the late Samuel Peak and Clarice Scott Peak. She was preceded in death by her husband Talmer McGee, sons James McGee and Mitch McGee.

Survivors include her son Wesley McGee; daughter Clarissa McGee; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; brothers Roger Peak, Bernie Peak; sisters Elaine Peters and Brenda Spence; and life long special friend Sue Coffey.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 29, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Helmandollar officiating. The family will receive friends, from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the Barnett Funeral Home.
