Stephanie Lynn Shinault Dunford, Age 68, of Rural Retreat, VA., passed away April 2, 2022. She was born in New York City, NY on July 30, 1953 daughter of Diana Shinault and the late Earnest C. Shinault.  She was preceded in death by her father.

She was a devoted member of the Rural Retreat Baptist Church. She was a legal secretary and she loved writing. She served many years as a sunday school teacher. She loved working with children.

She is survived by

Brothers: Brad Shinault of Austinville, VA, Kevin and Kara Shinault of Pilot Mountain, NC, David and Jewel Shinault of Florence, SC, and Richard and Dawn Shinault of Bristol TN

Sister: Renee and Deron Porter of Max Meadows, VA

Many Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday April 8, 2022 at the Rural Retreat Baptist Church with Pastor Jacob Vanover officiating.

Inurnment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Ivanhoe, VA at a later date.
