Steven Hasley, age 73, of Wytheville, VA passed away Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born August 31, 1952 in Dickson, TN, son of the late Edward Eugene and Mary Webb Hasley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janet Vella Hasley; son, Steven Wayne Hasley; sister, Sherron Hasley Dean; brother, Garry Hasley; sister-in-law, Marie Hasley and niece, Sheila Jordon.

Steve had a giving heart and ready to help his loved ones and always there for each of them. He had a gentle soul and loved his family, friends and any animal. He loved his daughter and grandsons so much and absolutely did anything and everything he could with and for them just to see them smile. Steve loved music and playing the guitar. He retired from Longwood Elastomers last year after working there over 30 years and was proud to tell everyone.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Hasley of Wytheville; his twin grandsons, Carson and Carter Thomas; a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Gerald Dunford of Austinville; 2 brothers, Wayne Hasley of Max Meadows and Larry Hasley of Wytheville; his dog, "Roscoe".

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 13th at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Jerry Hasley officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Community Church Cemetery.
