Susan Darlene Kidd Montgomery, age 62, of Barren Springs, VA passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017.  She was born December 17, 1954 in Wythe County, daughter of the late James A. and Ida Thore Kidd. She is survived by her husband, James Roy Montgomery; two daughters, April D. Montgomery of Max Meadows, VA, Jessica R. and Jack Rider of Barren Springs, VA; two sons, Adam C. Montgomery of Max Meadows, VA, John A. and Johannah Montgomery of Barren Springs, VA; four grandchildren, Gabriel Lee Hawkins, James Dean Rider, David Gage Sawyers and Ezra Royston Montgomery.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Glenwood United Methodist Church in Barren Springs with the Reverend Charles McPeak officiating.
