Thomas W. "Tom" Southard was welcome into his heavenly home on Thursday May 26, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, daughter Laurie, brother Dick, and sister Lydie.

Tom was a veteran of the United States Air Force and former employee of Longwood Gardens in Kennette Square, PA and aslo employed 24 years by VDOT where he formed special bonds and townships.

Tom is survived by

His Wife: Alice Faye Southard of the home

And also brother Frank Southard, Sisters Mary Burton and Maria Lewis

Surviving children are Yvonne Hagelgans, Debra Brickus, Thomas Southard, Robert Southard, Lisa McElroy, Jennifer Cornett, Chris Southard, and Hope Southard

19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive

A Private viewing for family will be held at Lindsey Funeral Home of Rural Retreat. Followed by graveside service.
