Valerie Denise Hills, age 40, of Wytheville, VA passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born November 2, 1977 in Wythe County. Valerie is survived by her parents, Tim and Susan Hills; two sisters, Teri Jo Hills and husband Andrew Akers and their daughter, Anna Marie Akers, Crystal Lee Webb and husband Jason Webb and their daughter, Abigail Lorraine Webb, all of Wytheville; aunts, Debi Johnson of Dublin and Kathy West and husband Allen West of Rural Retreat, Virgie Lane of Wytheville; several close cousins whom she loved dearly, too many to list individually. She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Bertie Grubb and Lona Hills and uncles, J.J. Johnson, Eugene Davis and Gary Lane.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Wilder officiating.

Interment will follow in West End Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday one hour before service time.
