Veta Jane Snavley Edmonds age 67 of Patterson community passed away Saturday July 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1951 in Wythe county VA, the daughter of the late Robert & Verl Ratcliff Snavley. She was preceded in death by her brother David Lee Snavley. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Edmonds of the home; 2 sons & daughter-in- law , Dustin Edmonds of Patterson VA, Andy & Rose Edmonds of Dry Pond,  VA; a sister & brother-in-law, Treva & Jimmy Jones of Fort Chiswell, VA; special sister-in-law, Shirley Quesenberry of Fort Chiswell, VA; a brother, Danny Snavley of Max Meadows VA; 2 grandchildren, Chase Edmonds  and Shyanne Edmonds; a great grandson to arrive in October, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home in Austinville VA with Andy Edmonds officiating, the family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 5 pm until service time.  The burial will be private
