Virgie Sue McRoberts Eversole, age 88, of Max Meadows, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born December 2, 1933 in Surry County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Dan and Dorothy Copeland McRoberts. She was also preceded in death by her infant children, Raymond and Dorothy Eversole; grandson, Bill Eversole; and sisters, Virginia Gwyn and Pauline Collins. Virgie attended the Full Gospel Bible Mission in Austinville.

Survivors include her husband, David Eversole of the home; sons, Danny (Missy) Eversole of Crockett, VA and Roger Eversole of Max Meadows, VA; sister, Lorena "Pat" Willard of Mt. Airy, NC; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends; special best friend, Donna Eversole.

A special thanks to all the caregivers at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center that took such wonderful care of Virgie during her stay. To her, "the happiest people in life are the givers, not the getters."

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Full Gospel Bible Mission Church with the Reverend Ronnie Isom and Reverend Terry Eversole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time. Burial will follow in the Austinville Assembly of God Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
