Virgie Lou Sarver, 88 of Rocky Gap VA passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022. Born July 17, 1934, in Bland County VA; she was the daughter of the late Benton Stowers and Nannie Belle Smith Stowers.

She was a member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church. She loved her family and she loved her little dog Dora Belle and the Lord Dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,  James Otis Sarver,  two daughter in laws, Shelby Sarver and Jody Sarver, sisters Glenna Williams, Maci Greenwald, Stella Tolbert, brothers Eddie and Frankie Stowers.

Survivors include: Sons Mark Sarver of Ceres VA, Danny and Tonya Sarver of Bland VA, Larry and Mary Sarver of Rocky Gap VA, Kevin and Tanya Sarver of Bastian VA, Daughters: Patricia and Timmy Lundy of Bastian VA, Tammy and Jr Havens Rocky Gap VA, Eleven Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren, her special friends Danny and Cindy Havens, and Albert and Gayle Miller.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, September 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Bland Funeral Chapel in Bland VA, with Pastor George Brown officiating; burial will follow at the Clear Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Rocky Gap VA. Friends may call Monday, September 19, 2022 from 11 am until the time of service.
