Virginia H. Waddell, age 91 of Bland, passed away March 4, 2017 at her home.  She was born May 10, 1926 in Bland County to the late Clyde and Ruth Harey Hager.  She was preceded in death by her husband Earl E. Waddell.

Survivors include a son, Karl C. Waddell of Bland; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy W. and Samuel D. Davidson of Bland; a sister Gladys H. Haynes of Max Meadows.

Funeral service will be held 7 P.M. March 6, 2017 at the Highlands Bland Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ted Anders officiating.  Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1 P.M. at the Stower's Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
