Wayne Randolph Howard, age 68, of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Monday, January 8, 2024. He was born September 2, 1955 in Wythe County, the son of the late Gene Howard and Ruth Chapman Howard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Burke Howard.

Survivors include three daughters, Jessica Grondolski, Lindsay Howard Jones and Leah Brown; a son, Jarred Brown; two sisters, Cathy Yonce and Joyce Stevens; two brothers, G.G. Howard and J.R. Howard. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Barnett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
