Welman "Buddy" Wesley Roberts, age 92, went to be with his Lord June 2, 2022 He was born January 29, 1930 in Greene County, VA to the late John Wesley Roberts and Nettie Shifflett Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Copenhaver Roberts ,a brother, George Curtis Roberts, two sisters, Eleanor Roberts Lawson and Arvenie Roberts Shifflett and a niece Phyllis Shifflett. He retired from Wilson Trucking in Charlottesville, Va.

"Buddy" leaves Behind many loved nieces and nephews. He spent his retirement years in Ft. Chiswell, Va.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Ingo officiating.

Interment will follow in West End Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour before service time.
