Wendy Marie "Walker" Fischer, age 59, of Sugar Grove VA., passed away on September 2, 2022.  She was born October 05, 1962 in Norfolk, VA, the daughter of the late John Walker and Bernadine Deschaine Walker. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband Lester Fischer.

She liked to read, play scrabble, and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Wendy is survived by her two sons Lester Fischer and wife Aimee of Sugar Grove VA, and Charles Walker of Franklinville, NJ.; two daughters Kelly Fischer and husband Jason Buchanan of Rural Retreat VA, and  Tanya Fares and husband Vince Fares of Blackwood NJ;  brother John Walker and wife Helen of Sewell, NJ.; sister Pauline Jeannette of Millville NJ.; 9 Grandchildren Jason Buchanan, Emilie Buchanan, David Pierce, Michael Pierce, Branden Pierce, Kayla Walker, Noah Walker, Hailee Walker, Mariah Walker; 2 Great Grandchildren Colton Blackwell and Brayden Buchanan; and Several Nieces and Nephews also survive

Graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bluesprings UMC Cemetery.
