Wesley "Wes" Gerald Wilson, age 88, of Ceres, VA passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born October 11, 1936 in Bland County, the son of the late William Wallace Wilson and Lucille Virginia Groseclose Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Hayton Wilson.

Survivors include his caregiver and friend that loved him deeply, Melissa Renninger of Ceres; special friends, Renee and Bobby Thompson, Glen Repass, Artie Repass and G.H. Peery, all of Ceres. Wes is also survived by several extended family members and many, many close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Sharon Lutheran Church with Pastor Neal Hammons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church.
