Wilbur "Ray" Pearman age 72 of Ivanhoe, VA went to his Heavenly Home on May 3, 2024.  Awaiting his arrival was his parents Marie Shafner Pearman and Carlie Pearman, Sr.; sister, Hazel Bowman; brother, Carlie Pearman.

He is survived by his fiancée, Bertha Monday; daughter, Dreama and Keith Kelly; step-daughter, Patricia and Bill Worrell; grandchildren, Sheridan Kelly and Brady Kelly the light of his eyes; step-grandchildren, Tosha and LG Parish and Heather and Earl Hashman; sister, Daisy Lambert; brother, Roy Lee and Michelle Pearman; several nieces, nephews and friends survive; also his beloved dog "Baby" and his lifelong friend Becky Blair.  To have known Ray was to have a friend.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with Pastor Hal Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Fries, VA.  The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday evening.
