William Leon Armbrister, age 67, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. He was the son of the late William Garnett Armbrister and Ada Gertrude Nester Armbrister and was also preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Nester. He loved farming.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy Maxwell and husband Jeff of Crockett, VA and Carrie Armbrister of Wytheville, VA; two grandchildren, Garrett Maxwell and Kaiden Melton; a sister, Louella Allen and husband Tom of Draper, VA; a brother, Willis Armbrister and wife Teresa of Max Meadows.

Burial will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the Armbrister Mountain Cemetery.
