William (Bill) Albert Cole, Jr. of Rural Retreat, VA went to be with our Lord Sunday morning February 26, 2017.  He was born on July 11, 1928 and was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Cole, Sr. and Christiana E. Cole.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Simmons Cole, children Michael and Timothy Cole, Tina and son-in-law Glenn Dunville, seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Bill served in the US Navy, a Veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He then served over 50 years as pastor in the Christian Ministry while continuing his education and achieving a Doctorate of Divinity.  He will be missed by many friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Collierstown Presbyterian Church.  In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Collierstown Presbyterian Church, Lexington, VA.
