William M. "Denny" Dunford, age 78, son of the late Earl and Euna Litteral Dunford of Ivanhoe, went to walk with Jesus, Thursday, July 21, 2022.  He was born July 14, 1944. He was preceded in death by a brother Garland and sisters Kathy and Annie.

He is survived by his Brother and Sister-in-law, Gene Douglas and Linda Dunford of Ivanhoe; Sisters and Brother-in-laws, Mary and Wayne Armbrister, Helen and Jerry Armbrister, David "John" Graybeal all of Max Meadows; Special nephew, Chad M. Dunford of Wytheville; Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Ingo officiating, burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ivanhoe VA.

The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time, or at the home of Gene Douglas Dunford at any time.

The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to the Mt Rogers Walnut Hill staff & the Wythe County Community Hospital for their care and compassion for Denny.
