William David Epperson, Sr., age 85, of Ceres, VA passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was born October 1, 1938 in Ceres, the son of the late Robert Sidney Epperson and Helen McFarland Epperson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Epperson and a brother, Wesley Epperson.

Survivors include his wife, Vilma Epperson; two sons, Robert "Bobby" and Susan Crowe Epperson and William "Billy" and Kristen Epperson; two step-sons, Gary and Denise Hubble, Terry and Jeannie Hubble; three grandchildren, Robert Tyler Epperson, Brady Epperson and Sophia Epperson; great-grandson, Jace Asher Epperson; five step-grandchildren, C.J. and Alayna Hubble, Richard Hubble, Amanda and Caleb Doane, Kevin Wheeler and Lisa, Andy and Evva Hubble; two step-great-grandchildren, RayAnne Hubble and Clara Jane Hubble.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the Bethany Methodist Church with the Reverend Samuel Shupe and Pastor Dan Helmondollar officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
