William Jennings Wygal Jr, 71, of Wytheville VA, died peacefully in his sleep Friday morning, December 09, 2022. Born February 6, 1951, in Marion VA, he was the son of the late William Jennings Wygal Sr and Ella Virginia Mason Wygal.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a loving Father and Grandfather. His loved ones will remember his love for spending time with family, watching sports, hunting, and farming.
Survivors include: his wife Susan Grubb Wygal of Wytheville VA, one son Charles Garrett Wygal of Wytheville VA, daughters and sons- in- laws, Cassie and Rodney Hylton of Rural Retreat VA, Susan Ashton and Jonathan Bentley of Cripple Creek VA, Sarah and Jordon Taylor of Speedwell VA, Julia and Gabe Ayers of Max Meadows VA, one sister, Mary Susan Wygal of Marion VA, grandchildren, Russell Bentley, Colton Bentley, Ty Hylton, Willow Taylor, and Forest Ayers.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7 P.M. at the Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville VA, with Pastor Steve Alderman officiating, Graveside services will be at the Crockett Family Cemetery on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 2 P.M. Friends and family will serve as
pallbearers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M., at the Barnett Funeral Home.
