David Alan Arnold, age 67, of Wytheville, VA (the Piney Community) passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017. He was born June 4, 1950 in Wytheville, the son of the late Gilmer and Helen Akers Arnold. He loved golfing and was an avid umpire with the Virginia High School League for over 20 years. David attended St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He is survived by his very devoted wife, Patti Arnold; Daddy's princess, Jessica Arnold Hines and Daniel of Piney; very special grandson, Colton Hines; four brothers, Doug and Ruth Arnold, Bruce Arnold, Jerry and Jean Arnold, Terry Arnold all of Piney; host of special nieces and nephews; many close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend J.C. McPeak officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
