Gordon Walker  "Rocky" Lindamood, Jr. age 69 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Friday, June 14, 2019.  He was born in Wythe Co., VA on February 3, 1950 the son of the late Gordon Walker Lindamood, Sr. and Evelyn Frances King Lindamood.  He was a member of Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge # 226 A.F. & A.M. of Rural Retreat and the Kazim Shriners of Roanoke, VA.

He is survived by a son, Gordon Walker Lindamood, III and wife April of Middletown, DE; grandchildren, Gordon Walker Lindamood, IV, Alyse Lindamood, William Lindamood; sisters, Mona Littreal of Beckley, WV, Faith Chumbley and husband Richard of Draper, VA, Katrina Fielder and husband Dennis, Cyrilla Scott and husband Jerry all of Rural Retreat; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating with a Masonic Memorial Service to follow by Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge # 226.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to7:00 P.M. prior to the service.  Interment will follow 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Fairview United Methodist Cemetery.  The family requests that those who prefer may make memorials to the Fairview Cemetery Fund.
