Harry Thomas "Buddy" Blair, age 78, of Wytheville, VA (the Piney Community) passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018. He was born September 6, 1940 in Wythe County, the son of the late Thomas and Thelma Whitford Blair. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou "Loudie" Gravley Blair and a sister, Peggy Eversole.  Survivors include two sons, Buddy and Marcy Blair of Wytheville, Amos and Elisha Blair of Ivanhoe; daughter, Hoochie and Roy Parks of Wytheville; grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Waylon, Kaley, Kaitlynn, Hallie and Trenton; great grandchildren, Eli, Easton, Chase and Cheyenne; two brothers, Wade and Kathy Blair of Danville, Bo and Patsy Blair of Max Meadows; four sisters, Layuna Shinault of Wytheville, Tootie and Larry Wright of Wytheville, Tena and Jerry Sayers of Ivanhoe and Betty Primm of Speedwell.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Don Crockett officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Olive Branch Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Blair family.
