Viola Mae Thompson Williams, age 93 of Castleton Rd, Max Meadows, VA, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Wythe Co., VA on May 1, 1925 the daughter of the late Harless Everett Thompson and Laura Emma Kirby Thompson.  Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clinton Williams, Sr.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Williams Beilharz of Madison Heights, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Clinton and Jeannie Williams, Jr; five grandchildren, Brad Williams, Donna Beilharz Ennis, Kelly Williams, Adam Williams and John Williams; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Family Cemetery located on 290 Labon Lane off Castleton Road with Rev. Billy Dean officiating.  The family will receive friends at the residence at any time located at 1441 Castleton Road Max Meadows, VA  24360.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations can be made to the Lead Mines Rescue Squad in memory Viola Thompson Williams, all flowers are to be delivered to the residence as there are no services held at the funeral home.
